Dr. Kathryn K. Clair

Dr. Clair was born and raised in Iowa and spent most of her adult life on the coast of Oregon. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2008, graduating with honors. As a graduate student at NSU-OCO, Dr. Clair gained extensive experience providing eye care to all ages of patients in the Cherokee Nation. She is licensed in the state of Texas as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist.

Prior to practicing at The Woodlands Texas State Optical from 2012 to 2020, Dr. Clair practiced at the Brenham TSO for three years. In addition to providing glasses and contact lens prescriptions, she manages ocular conditions including allergies, infections, injuries, dry eyes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and cataracts.  She enjoys getting to know her patients and building long-term relationships, bringing a small town feel to The Woodlands.

Dr. Clair is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, Harris County Optometric Society The Woodlands Country Club, and The Woodlands Methodist Church.

Dr. Clair is married to her husband, Jeff.  They love to travel, walk their dog, play golf, bake, and spend time with their family.
